haunted reunion...

it's almost time again... Brookdale Lodge is a beautiful haunted lodge located in the Santa Cruz Mountains! The first time I went, myself and 2 girlfriends had the most amazing time listening to live music and soaking up the atmosphere! We were also lucky to stumble upon a wine festival just up the street! and one of us fell in love!(it was me) All the planets were aligned! The redwoods surrounding it are magical, the lodge has a river running through the dinner hall and boasts a ghostly spirit of a young girl some locals have witnessed themselves. The surrounding yards are drenched in shades of green and babbling brooks! and we're about to embark on this voyage again- just 1 year and roughly 3 months later! Reunion time! Music brings out the best in us doesn't it!

My first taste of this genius was when he was with Nation of Ulysses while I was just 15! I would've done anything in their honor! Melt melt melt at the music. His career has spanned this entire time and every reincarnation has made me a fan. Bless this weird little mess of a man! Times like these I wished I lived in NY... but only then because I LOVE LA!

BIG SUR again...

Albino Redwood located in BIg Sur at Fernwood!
It contains no chlorophyl and feeds off a host tree. It's a root parasite and it's needles are softer than an average redwood. Pretty awesome!
